Design and Implementation of Auto Switch Lighting Monitoring and Control System

The havoc that the electricity can cause may be unimaginable compared with benefits if not proper controlled, maintained, managed and used. Developed countries has setup good system of management maintenance supply. Studies have shown supply should properly distributed respect to use, however, only a few these studies were implemented in developing including Nigeria. Therefore, this research was aimed at design development auto switch lighting monitoring control system. adopted multiple concepts by making use software, hardware configurations. configurations combined micro-controller (Arduino), sensor GSM module for wireless communication, battery, Real Time Clock (RTC) LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) display purpose. By considering time set from status Dependent Resistor) LDR sensor, controller turns light ON/OFF. results showed photoelectric (presence) on when presence is detected during night Current Sensor will sense current value which power consumed calculated. It also provides information about faulty lamps ease fault detection. concluded ensuring objectives met. employed synchronization database created linked mobile software further digital board. designed implementation it able switching, Babcock University. recommended replicated country.
